Indiana Destination Development Corporation
The Indiana Destination Development Corporation (IDDC) works with attractions, restaurants, hotels and other partners throughout Indiana to tell Indiana’s inviting stories to residents and visitors alike. Elaine Bedel serves as the secretary and CEO of the IDDC, which is a public-private sector corporation that replaced the former Indiana Office of Tourism Development. IDDC is overseen by a board of directors appointed by the governor.
Hotel Motel Association of St. Joseph County
The Hotel Motel Association of St. Joseph County aims to promote, protect, and improve the hotel industry of St. Joseph County, Indiana. It is the voice of the hotel/motel industry in government and public relations, providing programs offering operational benefits and creating opportunities for member involvement.
Accreditation by Destinations International
Visit South Bend Mishawaka in 2019 completed the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) and achieved this accreditation with distinction through Destinations International, a professional organization that represents destination marketing organizations and convention and visitors bureaus around the world. Accreditation recognizes Visit South Bend Mishawaka’s commitment to industry excellence and meeting the industry standard for performance and accountability of destination organizations around the world. Visit South Bend Mishawaka joins a select group of around 200 destination organizations that have achieved DMAP recognition.
