Sorin’s serves up a modern Midwest take on traditional French cuisine and these influences can be seen throughout the breakfast menu.
This restaurant carries all of the history and beauty you can expect while on campus at Notre Dame. Sorin’s has been serving up food since the Morris Inn opened in 1952. In fact, when you walk inside, the three gorgeous murals on the wall depicting Notre Dame’s campus were all painted for the restaurant’s grand opening in 1952. Take in the warm sunlight through the large windows on the west side of the dining room as you listen to the waiter poetically describe something on the menu that caught your eye. And with great prices, this is one fine dining experience that will not break the bank. Be sure to savor the diced ham and bell pepper with every bite of your three egg omelet. After you finish your meal, Sorin’s will become another stop on Notre Dame’s campus you must visit every time you come to South Bend.

Their one-of-a-kind recipe creates donuts that melt in your mouth while bursting with flavor. You will be greeted upon entering with a warm smile and an even warmer welcome. However, the old saying “the early bird gets the worm” applies to Rise ‘N Roll. The only difference is instead of a bird it is plenty of hungry customers and instead of a worm, it is their frosted, glazed and filled donuts. Once they are gone, they are gone for the rest of the day. Make sure to set your alarm early to try these confections.
