DTSB has partnered with local fitness organizations to provide a free outdoor summer fitness program at the Gridiron in downtown South Bend every Saturday morning to encourage healthy living. These free drop-in classes, beginning at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 10 a.m., include a mix of yoga, Zumba, cardio dance, Jazzercise, Piloxing, and more.

All classes are held on the Gridiron in Downtown South Bend, weather permitting. In the event of rain, classes will be held on the 5th floor of the Leighton Parking Garage.

Classes are led by professional instructors from Beacon Health and Fitness, The YMCA, The Kroc Center, Tu Sei Bella Dance Fitness Studio, Beyond Zen Studio, O’Brien Fitness Center, WEPA Dance Studio, Solace Yoga Studio, Therapeutic Indulgence, Yamafit, ICE Athletic Center, Savage Body Academy, Fit Stop, Yoga with John, Zumba with Angie, Zumba with Gisele, Zumba with Juliana, Zumba with Kimmi, Yoga with Emily and Zumba with Nancy.

Participants should dress in appropriate clothing and footwear, bring adequate fluids and will be required to sign a waiver prior to the start of each class. Free parking is available on the street and in the garage at Leighton Center. A limited number of yoga mats will be available for a $1 class rental fee (cash only; exact change only).
