South Bend RC Open House

9:30 am - 2:00 pm

Guests can watch a pylon-racing event that starts at 9:30am. After the race, displays and demonstration of all types of model aircraft from planes to drones will be available. Hands on flight experience with flight simulators and an opportunity to fly a real RC aircraft.

This event is 100% FREE and open to the public. Refreshing drinks and snacks will be available.

In addition to seeing the aircraft and talking to members, visitors can take the control of a real radio control aircraft in flight to get the feel for this exciting activity. A dual control set up (buddy-box) with an experienced RC flight instructor assures a successful experience. Flight simulators will be available that simulates actual RC flight.

LOCATION: The Allinger Flying Field is located at 19350 Quinn Road in Bremen, Indiana. The Field will be open to the public from 9:00am until 2pm.

The club promotes model aviation as a wholesome educational and recreational activity and a gateway to careers in aerospace, science and technology careers.

The South Bend RC Club was established in 1983 and strives to be recognized as the best radio control model aircraft organization, professional in all that it does, to provide a medium for like-minded hobbyists and to gather for fellowship and sharing of information.
