New Carlisle Hometown Days 2019

In 2005, upon hearing about the discontinuation of the annual Historical Days festival, a group of citizens formed a committee to carry on the summer festival tradition. The festival was renamed Hometown Days. Now in its 15th year, Hometown Days continues to provide a safe, fun, and family-oriented event on the last full weekend of each July.
The Wiffle Ball Championship Home Run Derby – Friday, July 26 at 7:05 p.m.
Friday Night Fireworks – Dusk
The fireworks originate from the Olive Football Field and are best viewed from the Little League ballfields between Memorial Park and Olive Elementary School. The show can also be seen from many other vantage points in town, including the New Carlisle Public Library parking lot.
Hometown Days Auto Show – Saturday, July 27 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Hometown Days Parade – Saturday, July 27 at Noon ET
One of the most anticipated events of the summer, the Hometown Days Parade makes its way eastbound down Michigan Street (US 20). The route begins at Dollar General on the far west end of town and concludes in downtown New Carlisle.
Pedal Pull – Saturday, July 27 at 2:30 p.m.
The Wiffle Ball Championship Tournament – Saturday, July 27 through Sunday, July 28
Food options available throughout the weekend include Tex Mex, Pulled Pork, Country Grilling, Pizza, Hot Dogs, Burgers, Homemade Baked Goods, Elephant Ears, Snow Cones, Malts and Other Ice Cream Treats, Strawberry Shortcake, Kettle Corn and Lemon Shake Ups.
