Broomball is an exciting and fun variation of ice hockey played on ice without skates. Brooms are used instead of hockey sticks and a mini soccer ball is used instead of a puck.
If you just want to have some good, crazy and exciting fun without the competitive nature of hockey, Broomball is your game! Every Wednesday night, the Tire Rack Ice Pond will be sectioned off specifically for Broomball play, while the Ice Trail will remain open for public skating. Whether someone wants to play broomball or skate, the fee will be $5. Additional discounts/promotions will not apply on broomball nights.
Broomball will be on hiatus December 20 – January 3 due to holiday hours.
