Best. Week. Ever. 2021, a weeklong festival celebrating creativity and culture in South Bend, is set for Aug. 1-7. Tickets are now on sale for three new events to take place this year.

Aug. 1-7: Best. Restaurant Weeks. Ever.

Hours Vary | Downtown South Bend

Celebrate the best restaurants around downtown South Bend as they offer creative menus and special prices. You can find breakfast, lunch and dinner. Participating restaurants include Café Navarre, Chicory Café, Fidler's Hearth Public House, Howard Park Public House, LaSalle Grill, LaSalle Kitchen & Tavern, PEGGS, Woochi Japanese Fusion & Bar and more.

Aug. 1: Rebel Art Fest at Potawatomi Park

Noon-8 p.m. | Potawatomi Park

Make South Bend kicks off Best. Week. Ever. with a showcase of local makers, artists and musicians at this art festival. There will be craft stations, food vendors, a beer garden and more.

Aug. 2-3 — See SB

All day | Various Locations

Two full days of opportunities to explore South Bend is a highlight of this week's Best. Week. Ever. Museums, restaurants and retailers are providing special experiences, one-time discounted rates and special promotions for those that purchase wristbands and the $5 and $10 levels.

Aug. 4 — Best. Wednesday. Ever.

4-8 p.m. | Corner of Western Avenue and Liberty

There is something for the whole family during this outdoor festival on the Westside. You can expect local favorite food, family activities and live music. There will be a kids zone and a beer tent for those 21 and over. All family and kids activities are FREE.

Aug. 5 — Best. Baseball Game. Ever.

6-10 p.m. | Four Winds Field

It's baseball night in South Bend! Experience one of the best ballparks in minor league baseball for a South Bend Cubs game. There will also be an opportunity to win a ride on a hot air balloon. You read that right!

Aug. 5 — Curious Quest for the Chromatic Treasure Hunt

6-10 p.m. | South Bend Museum of Art

This immersive, story-based treasure hunt will take participants all over town. Only one team will win the grand prize, but there are smaller prizes to win throughout the game. Tickets are required for this event: Early bird for $8 until July 16 then $10 per person.

Aug. 6 — Best. First Fridays. Ever.

5-10 p.m. | Downtown South Bend

DTSB First Fridays will showcase downtown with a "Flashback Friday" theme celebrating the 1980s with a special concert by local band The 1985. Visitors are encouraged to dress in 80s-inspired clothes while exploring downtown. Local restaurants and shops will be offering special deals and there will be activities for kids.

Aug. 7 — Brunch on the Bend

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Century Center

Brunch anyone? Join local vendors at Island Park outside Century Center for a brunch experience unlike anything you've experienced before. Every adult attendee that purchases admission will receive 20 tickets to build their own perfect brunch from different vendors. Some planning to be on hand include Oh Mamma's on the Avenue, Yellow Cat Café and Meek & Melz Café.
